Interview on PensEyeView 09-23-11

The band had a great interview with Richie Frieman from PensEyeView

"PEV loves this description: “DanseWolf's sound is seductive and sinister but poppy and sweet at the same time. Imagine yourself in the funeral scene of Guns N' Roses' music video for ‘November Rain’ but instead of people looking depressed they're all partying and bopping around with cute girls in little black dresses.” Awesome.

DanseWolf is a hybrid – a mold of NYC and LA. They have a new release out, an EP titled “Smoke N Mirrors”. They get into it: “This is our first EP, so this is our first stab at it. I think fans can hear a vulnerability within the chords and the words of this album. There’s a sort of level of heartbreak that you can identify with, while also resigning to the fact that you are going to get past then pain and come out stronger.” Check it out – it’s good stuff. And get to a show! These guys (and gal) have attitude! Do it if you’re out in Cali, no doubt. Sample “Smoke N Mirrors” and read on for all the answers to the XXQ’s.
